Why I wanted to get involved with NEPTL: After being a member for a year, I thought volunteering would be a great way to learn more about NEPTL’s inventory and learn from other members.

My Background: I grew up in Oregon. I left the PNW to go to graduate school and lived in the Bay area and the midwest. When I had a chance to move to Portland, I didn’t give it a second thought and have been living in NE Portland since 2003. Over my professional career I’ve worked in marketing at a tech startup, Gateway Computer, IBM, Intel, and Moda Health. My favorite job was sewing for a custom wedding dress designer.
